Katong-Joo Chiat

Make sure to try the famous Katong laksa (spicy coconut milk-based noodle soup) and other Nonya delicacies.

Supertrees at Gardens by the Bay
A visit to Singapore is not complete without visiting the lush and beautiful Gardens by the Bay with its two futuristic conservatories designed with sustainability in mind and the majestic Supertrees, vertical gardens that generate solar power and features a dazzling light and sound show at night.
Another favourite is the Singapore Botanic Gardens, the country’s first UNESCO Heritage site. A treasure trove for plant lovers, it’s the perfect place for picnicking or jogging and is also home to the National Orchid Garden.
For those who love nature and the outdoors, then kayak across the clear waters of MacRitchie Reservoir, or take an exhilarating walk along its nature trails where you are likely to encounter long-railed macaque monkeys, squirrels and monitor lizards. Enjoy a bird’s eye view of the lush green foliage at the Treetop Walk, a 250-metre aerial free standing suspension bridge spanning the two highest points within MacRitchie.
